    CMOS/GPNU checksum bad

    Hello all once again!

Since last two times, when I boot, I noticed two weird things.
First, when I switch on from plug point, the computer powers on even before pressing the power switch on the computer.
Then, even before getting to the Grub menu, I get the following message:
    CMOS/GPNU checksum bad
System date and time not set

    Press F4 to run setup
I press F4, change the system time in BIOS setup and exit saving changes. Now the grub menu appears as usual and the system boots properly. Another thing that I noticed while changing the BIOS settings is that the "Boot priority order" has changed. It shows the first boot location as floppy drive, then the hard disk and then CDROM.

The only notable thing that I did in the previous session is that I installed Wine.

The board battery may be wasted, which is not a Linux/GRUB issue.

You should (let somebody) replace the cmos-battery. It's not too difficult to do it yourself, if you're a bit handy.
