can´t login to console

when kubuntu starts up you can choose to login to console from the menu, but when I click "console log in" I just get a black screen and no log in promt, after a minute or so the blackscreen dissapears and I get back to the default login screen...no probs login in to kde but console doesn´t work, what do I do ?

Hi,

Maybe not a real solution but more a workaround, you can press <Ctrl><Alt><F1> and then you will be able to login from console. At least, I'm doing it like this.
