My God this has become slow to install and start.

Also the 'forum' doesn't start up in the forum but some irrelevant rss news.

Downloading and installing the updates is aoint on my 700+ram and 2.4 gHz CPU.. This has to improve"

Seems you have a problem.
What is the problem, net access with your browser?
If so which browser?
If not what is slow, your news reader maybe?

Give us a clue and we might help.

The problem went away - perhaps a temperature problem. Got a hot CPU these days. Thanks anyway.
