    Monitor screen size

    Since installing kubuntu and auto updating to 2.6.20.16 the screen size has reset itself to 600x480 and will not allow a higher setting - what do I do?

    K Menu -> System Configuration -> Monitor & Video

    Everything should be there.

      not sure if your problem was fixed but try changing your monitor to a different one. For some reason the generics were not working right for me and my manufactor wasn't on there so i picked some viewsonic and it works great let me adjust resolution more and my refresh rate

        Open a Console and rerun the xserver configuration program:
        Code:
        sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg
        Windows no longer obstructs my view.
