Problem updating from Edgy

Hi,

I'm still (I think) running Edgy Eft, and I went to do an Adept update which did actually update a few things, then it run what I think is a seperate program to do the full update from Edgy to Feisty. Problem was I didn't have the time it said it needed then.

Subsequently I've gone back to Adept to do the update, now that I have the required time, and it says "Waiting for Headers 24%" when I try to do fetch updates.

What can I do to fix this and do the full upgrade from Edgy to Feisty?

P.S. I really need to get this done in the next 24 hours or it won't get done till September because I'll be at sea and I'll get lynched if I try to do it then because we are severely bandwidth limited! :-(

Just my two cent: upgrading a system under (severe) pressure of time is never a good idea ((ir-)rationale ).

May or may not work, perhaps just try

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get upgrade

At the very least, it should tell you what is going wrong.
