    Mounting my NTFS drive

    Hey Folks!

Just getting Feisty finally all set up and I can't seem to mount my ntfs drive that still have windows and all my files on it (gradually going to make the switch and just VM Ware the whole machine for any other program's purposes). Anyhew, used Adept Installer to install the NTFS read/write (NTFS Config I believe it's called) and I can't seem to get the drive mounted.

Running NTFS Config simply does nothing, click and wait... but nothing happens. And when using Konqueror to even take a look at the drive it throws this error:

    hal-storage-fixed-mount-all-options refused uid 1000

I assume it's cause I can't read the drive yet, but how do I get to that point (I'm dying to get Amarok going, but all the mp3s are on the windows drive right now). Thanks all!!

Oh, and for the record... everything is working like a charm!

      Hey,

Everything in Link number 1 seems to have worked... and Amarok is currently building my collection!!

I haven't checked out the VM Ware just yet, but that you for the link! I will remark about VM Ware when I get the opportunity to test it out!
