    Some help!

I have recieved in the mail Kubuntu 7.04 for my PC. I tried to load it from the live cd but I have one problem which doesnt allow me to continue my experience. When I try to load from the live cd it LOOKS like it is loading Kubuntu and a blue screen appears in the background and a mouse is there. I can move my mouse around but nothing is loading I am just stuck on a blue screen with a mouse. What might be wrong? Is it my CD?.. My computer? Help would be appreciated!

Immediate Response would be nice.... I have a Compaq Evo N160

    Re: Some help!

Sometimes I've found that settings in BIOS can cause issues. Have you tried going into BIOS and disabling legacy mode for your CD ROMs? I've had that problem a couple of times.
Also, try turning off ACPI, or booting the Kubuntu CD without acpi support. I've also seen that help.

    Good luck!
