The Grub doesnt appear anymore

Hi everybody! I'm newper in the forum!!!

I have installed kubuntu(i also have xp installed), a few days ago, the grub was no more.
The PC starts automatically from xp. The boot order application of windows does not recognize the partition of kubuntu.

I want to know how to install the grub? I have important files there.
I'm new in Linux world, so there are many terms that i unknown, so if there any answer, please assume that you are talking to a kid of 10 year old
