I get this one too.
It works fine on my old Compaq piece of crap, but when i try to install it on my Dell XPS400, i get that error message. Any help would be appreciated, especially since I don't seem to be alone in my problem. -

I am getting the same error as well. I am getting it with Ubuntu too. I have tried it on a Dell and a Gateway. Any help?!!!
