    2 hard drive install

I have 2 Maxtor 320GB hardrives. When I install Feisty Fawn, it wants to install to either but does not give me access to the other. Is there any way to set up the second drive on Install?

If I install to one drive, Kubuntu sees the second drive, no problem. When I try to enable it in System Settings, it fails. And really wierd, the KDE config files are somehow altered so the system will not reboot?

Both HD's are brand new and check out fine. (both are formatted ext3)

    Help!!??

    Re: 2 hard drive install

ok, now...forget about system settings -> disks and file systems...rubbish.
i don't understand if your system is still bootable or not.
if it's bootable, pls, post the result of the following from a konsole (i assume your discs are sda and sdb):
    Code:
    fdisk -l /dev/sda>
    fdisk -l /dev/sdb>
    cat /etc/fstab
then also pls post how you would like your discs to be laid out.
that is, how much room you wanna use for what on which disc.

    cheers
