OK firstly, I am very new to this and have never dabbled in any of this before, so I apologise if whatever the problem is is glaringly obvious.
I downloaded a file (kubuntu-7.04-alternate-i386.iso) and burnt it to a disk in order to install it as a dual boot system. However when I restart the computer (changing the BIOS to boot from the CD drive) it takes longer than usual but boots up the normal windows XP.
Can anyone offer any help?
