installing gnome, xfce and other window manager...

Hi, Im new to Kubuntu/Ubuntu and am impressed. Kudos to all.

Ive installed kubuntu dual boot with winxp. I wonder if it is possible to also install other linux window manager, eg gnome, xfce etc... along with my kubuntu? I like kde but would like to change to gnome or xfce once in a while

it should be easy enough.

from adept (or synaptic or command line), install:
(gnome) ubuntu-desktop
(xfce) xubuntu-desktop

whether all desktops get along well with one another using the same user i don't know,
but those are your packages...

oh...and a lot of stuff is going to be installed.
