New Kernel won't load KDM

Hi, I used synaptic to apply today's updates. I use the low-lat kernel. 2.20.16 will not load KDM for me. Thankfully I'm able to use my old kernel to get in.

It simply does the Kubuntu loading splash page and then goes to a blank screen with a cursor but no prompt. I can type away all I want with no effect.

Seems to be a problem with the new kernel update, Kev.

Perhaps just use .15 until a fix is sorted for the new one.
