X Errors when Running Synpatic Package Manager under Kubuntu Feisty Fawn

When I run Synaptic Package Manager under Ubuntu Feisty Fawn to upgrade or add packages, I do not see any X Errors.

But when I run Synaptic Package Manager under Kubuntu Feisty Fawn, I see the following X errors:

X Error: BadDevice, invalid or uninitialized input device 167
    Major opcode: 144
    Minor opcode: 3
    Resource id: 0x0
    Failed to open device

    Preparing to replace vim-tiny 1:7.0-164+1ubuntu7 (using .../vim-tiny_1%3a7.0-164+1ubuntu7.1_i386.deb) ...
    Unpacking replacement vim-tiny ...

    etc...

Does anyone know what is going on?
How can I eliminate these errors.

These are safe to ignore. These errors are because KDE is looking for wacom tablet pc bits that are set up in a default (K)Ubuntu xorg.conf file. While annoying to some, these messsages are harmless and can be ignored, or you can search the forums here and find out how to edit the config file to eliminate them.
