Upgrade Failed

When I try to upgrade my Kubuntu 6.10 installation to
Fiesty it fails with the following messages:

I checked and I can access the files listed above through Firefox.

This happens right at the end of "Modifying the software channels"
and before "Fetching and installing the upgrades."
When I click on "Report Bug" at the bottom of the error window,
Konqueror tries to start then dies.

Any ideas why Adept fails to fetch the "Packages.bz2" files from the repositories?
And, just as important, how can I fix this?
