I'm a KDE junkie and prepared to admit it (esp with the beautiful looking KDE 4.0 on the horizon), but I mainly use my box for 3d and video work so now Ubuntu Studio has me looking longingly at the other side of the fence.
I'm wondering if it's possible to get the speed improvements on audio / video apps while still keeping KDE by just installing the low latency kernel via apt in my Kubuntu Feisty install? If this is possible, which package (for a 386 machine) would be the correct one (there's about 3 marked low latency).
Thanks!
