Can not see hdds

I have just loaded Kubuntu 7.04 and can not work out how I can files and folders on my drives.
Only the CD and floppy show up in media.I have had several Ubuntu and kumbutu OS's in the past and never had a problem

/home/(username) is where all personal files should be. Do you mean you have other drive in the computer?

Open konqueror and if it is a fresh install you should have the line to do a file search. If not just type about:konqueror in the address bar.
