CD Upgrade from Edgy?

Hello all.

I think I messed up.

Got the standard Desktop CD ONLY for Feisty. Am currently running Edgy.
(when I read the blurb online, it was not clear on which CD to get?).

Yet I would prefer to upgrade to Feisty, not do a clean install.

Do I have to get the Alternative CD to do the upgrade, or is it still possible somehow from the Desktop CD.
On 56K dialup so downloading an ISO is out of the question...

i've tried adding the desktop cd as a repository in /etc/apt/sources.list.
you can do it with:

sudo apt-cdrom add

unfortunately, only a very limited amount of packages comes up.
i'd say...a useless amount of packages (upgrade wise).
maybe someone else has a solution for you.
