Can you install Kubuntu without GRUB?

I got my new 2.5" USB drive working great...and I got Mepis 64 bit working...

Now, I want to partition and install Kubuntu 7.04 on part of the remaining space.

However, I remember that you have to choose which drive to install grub onto.

Is there an option to let you install Kubuntu onto a drive without having to install GRUB again?

Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

    cheers

    Hi,

If you're making a graphical install, I remember it's in the sumup, there's the option, where you want to install grub, play with it so it will not install grub.
