    This is strange.....

So, I tryed to install Kubuntu 7.04 on my Desktop last night, but without any luck. I booted up on the LiveCD, Pressed the Install button like always and followed the steps. Now - after It were done installing it asks for a reboot, and when i Reboot it just comes up saying "No Operating system found".

Now that made me think.. did I forget to tell the BIOS that I actually have a Harddrive that it should boot on, but that wasent the case.

I have a feeling that it might be my SATA controller that is the annoying part here, but Im not sure.
The harddisk im installing on is a Seagate Raptor disk, and I have 2x 120gb Maxtor SATA disks as Storage. 1 with my Windows stuff and one with Music, pictures, documents etc etc..

I removed the cables from the 2 storage disks while installing Kubuntu on the Raptor disk since I have had problems with those two before, and the hard part isent to get windows to boot via grub when the system is up and running..

    So any suggestions ?

    My system is:
    Motherboard: Abit IC7-max3
    CPU: P4 2,8GHz (HT)
SATA Controller: Promise ( smthing )
    Soundcard: Creative Audigy ZS
GFX card: Club-3d Radeon X800 Pro
Working...
