I am fairly new to linux and have installed kubuntu 7. The install went fine. I made a 3 gig partition on the beginning of my HD and a 980 megs swap space all the way at the end. All the rest of the space in the middle is fat32 for my files. Anyway when it first booted after the install things were kind of slower in loading times compared to when I recently installed kubuntu 6. The menus right now take atleast 1-2 secs before popping up, etc. Also when I logged out and logged back in my mouse disappeared. It took me forever to get to there forums, register, and type this... If anyone could help, I would appreciate it. I have an hp pavillion with 60 gigs of space, 1 gig of ram and a 3800 amd 64 antholon processor. My gfx card is a nvidia 6150 le if that matters.
