Good day everybody,
I would like to upgrade my edgy, and was planning on running the online upgrade ( in a few days - to let the storm pass ) but I have a few applications - A movie database (MySQL backend) and a customized fstab, combined with Samba.
My question:
Is this a true upgrade, or does it download an install image, and then you reboot and reinstall?
If it does just upgrade, does it leave settings, (smb.conf, etc/fstab etc.....) alone and not modify those back to an origional state.
What about MySQL databases, does it leave those alone, or nuke them?
Thank you - Andrew
