Edgy to Feisty: Doesn't boot, stays at the blue loader screen.

Hello,

I upgraded Kubuntu from Edgy to Feisty using Adept.
Now, it won't boot up. It just stays at the blue kubuntu loader screeen for ages. (Not the KDE load), but before that..
[All it has is the logo, kubuntu, and a blue bar below it.)

Hardware is a Gateway
Solo 5300.

Please help.

I don't even know why they say Ubuntu community is so big and all that crap.
Look at this.. no one even replies.

Let me atleast try gnome ubuntu.

whoa¨ This is not crap.

Try doing a search in this forum and you will find a lot of posts pertaining to your problem, with solutions.

EDIT:
Can you at least post your /boot/grub/menu.lst and /etc/fstab?

It could be one of those uuid things, happened to me as well. Not because of an upgrade, but I have seen a few posts here with similar symptoms
