Problems Attempting Clean Install of Feisty

    Hi all

Delurking time, I guess (my name's Christian). I've searched for this answer and haven't found it.

I'm trying to do a clean install of Feisty but the installation hangs at about 5% (i.e. crashes). I did a "Check the CD for errors" and there are two file errors on the CD. I've downloaded and burnt it three times (using InfraRecorder trial version) and I get errors each time I run the CD through the "Check the CD for errors".

Any ideas on how to do this better?

    Thanks in advance!

    Christian

I had problems burning the ISO with K3B and gnomebaker. It would hang towards the end of the burn, wasted 3 discs.
I then tried it on a Windows platform and used this program called Burncdcc, it always works well on images.
    here's a free link.

You might also want to try burning the ISO at a slower speed. I've never had problems when burning kubuntu ISO's, but I remember reading in the docs that if there are errors then you may have better luck with burning an ISO at a slower speed.
