Image CD Burner for XP - Checksum

Hi:
I'm currently downloading kubuntu-7.04-desktop-amd64.iso

1)Can someone point me to the checksum file for this?
The link I used didn't point me to one.

2)I found a page the other day that recommends a Windows XP
CD burner that will burn an iso image. But I can't find it again..
can someone recommend such a burner?
