I encountered an error while upgrading from Edgy to Feisty. The upgrade failed with about 9 minutes left while installing/upgrading packages. I couldn't submit a bug report as it was telling me that Kwin had actually crashed. I was able to save the installation (and my computer) by using
This is the second time that it has happened (as I tried upgrading to Herd 4 at one point). I'm not sure if this has happened to anybody else, but if it is a bug in the updater, then more people will be running into these problems.
