    Error: Could Not Install

A friend helped me install Kubunto a few months ago. I've been updating segments as they appear and tried to do the same thing when I was notified about 7.04. After about 8 hours of downloading (with good cable connection) I finally got the msg: Could Not install var/cache/apt/archive/samba-3.0.24-Zubuntu1_i386.deb.
Next screen said: Preparing libfs6. Nothing happened for an hour or so so I had to quit, presumably losing all with "53 minutes remaining."
I'm very marginally computer literate geezer and wonder if this is a bug that should be reported. I've had almost no problems with the system and like it so far and anticipated it would only get better. Should I just give up on 7.04, or maybe get it on CD and try again?
    Thanks!

Probably you should wait one or two days and try again.

There are too many people trying to upgrade at the same time, and the mirrors are suffering. It can be just a download problem. Or maybe it's a real upgrade bug, but now... I can't even upgrade my edgy without network related problems .
