Tried the New Kubuntu Alternate CD 7.4 install.... what a mess......... The partitioning program is a TOTAL WRECK.. I wanted to use RAID with REISERFS.. was NEVER able to successfully able to define a raid at all.. partitioning program would never show the total raid partitions that I had created (4 sata drives X 2 AutoRaid partitions each) ... It kept getting lost, all kinds of error messages that didn't make sense at all... I finally had to revert back to my original NON-RAID install.
WAY more work needs to be done on the BETA before it will every be a good release candidate...
