Will Kubuntu 7.04 run on a HP Workstation Z600

Hi,

We have a Kubuntu 7.04 installation running with some special printing application and now we need a more powerfull machine for that.

We have thought about buying a HP Workstation Z600 with at single Intel Xeon Quad-Core E5520 processor, 6 GB RAM and a HP Nvidia Quadro NVS 290 graphics adapter. Will our current installation run on that machine? Do we need to upgrade to a newer version of Kubuntu?

What exactly, makes you think it isn't 'up to the task, given you've been using it for 'how long?' What 'printing application' do you have, if one may ask?
