PS/2 Ports wont work in ASRock ALIVENF6G-VSTA

I just installed a new motherboard (ASRock ALIVENF6G-VSTA) and the ps/2 ports don't seem to function in linux. I'v reinstalled both windows and kubuntu, the mouse and keyboard work fine in windows (and grub) but I get absolutely nothing in kubuntu.

Also they won't work in the latest kubuntu, ubuntu and gentoo liveCDs.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I'm not sure, my Google search shows that most people don't have any issues with the ASRock ALIVENF6G-VSTA motherboard on Linux, not even Ubuntu. I dunno', did you have a working Kubuntu installation before you installed the new motherboard?
