Hello All,
I need help getting my internet connection working. I have an MSI 865PE NEO2-V motherboard with the following specifications:
• Intel® 865PE Chipset
- Supports 400/533/800MHz Intel NetBurst micro-architecture bus.
- Supports AGP 8X/4X at 0.8V (AGP 3.0) or 4X at 1.5V (not support 3.3V) interface.
- Supports DDR266/333/400 memory.
• Intel® ICH5 Chipset
- 8 Hi-Speed USB ports (USB2.0/1.1) controller, 480Mb/sec.
- 2 Serial ATA/150 ports.
- 2 channel Ultra ATA 100 bus Master IDE controller.
- PCI Master v2.3.
- I/O APIC.
• Realtek 8100C.
- Integrated Fast Ethernet MAC and PHY in one chip.
- Supports 10Mb/s, 100Mb/s auto-negotiation operation.
- Compliant with PCI v2.2.
- Supports ACPI Power Management.
After installing Kubuntu 7.04 I find that I have no eithernet link light on my ADSL modem. The LED's at the on board LAN connector (RJ-45) are not active either.
I thought I might be able to download a Linux driver for the MSI 865PE NEO2-V motherboard however MSI only seems to have Windows drivers.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
