    ricoh vgp-vcc6 camera driver

Hai , please help me out,

I have installed Kubuntu feisty fawn 7.04 on my sony vaio VGN-CR12GH/B .
The OS detected almost everything ( Audio, Graphics card, ethernet, wifi, bluetooth etc)
except the SD card, Memory card reader and webcam VGP-VCC6 Ricoh .

I tried with r5u870 driver and the LED is glowing but xawtv, camorama etc is giving
    input/output error.

The lsusb output is as below,
Bus 003 Device 002: ID 05ca:1839 Ricoh Co., Ltd
Bus 007 Device 002: ID 0483:2016 SGS Thomson Microelectronics Fingerprint Reader

    Kindly help !!

I don't have a good answer for you but since those things should be recognized by the system when you hot plug them(they are all usb correct) I would try disconnecting them, rebooting and then try just connecting one item and see if it is recognized and functional. If this works then it shouldn't be too much inconvenience to just boot without them and plug in what you need as you need it.
