When I installed kubuntu on my laptop, it recognized the sound without any problem, and It Just Worked. Some reboot since installation, the system decided the sound is different hardware than it is, and I can't change it back. Didn't there used to be a nice control panel for hardware, or am I thinking of a different distro? Regardless, how do I figure out which sound driver it should be using, and change it back?
