OK, here goes.
I have Kubuntu 7.04 running on my laptop and my laptop has soft buttons on the front to control volume etc. when i mute my sound with the soft buttons or the volume manager on the bar i can still hear the sounds my computer makes at full volume. how do i mute my speakers so that i can actually control the sound?
