Using Envy I installed a nvidia driver for Geforce4 MX 440 and I set the resolution for 1024/768 @85
After reboot it dropped to 56 or lower. Set it again, gave command to write to the xconf file and after restart it dropped again. And it messed up my keyboard settings. Lost my dead keys.
For the time being I reversed to the situation before installing the driver (I had a working version laying around, a leftover from a previous manual installation which went wrong) but now google earth doesn't want to run.
I would appreciate a solution.
