    Install Hung Up - Now Can't Power Up PC

    I was attempting to install FF 7.04 and was in step 4 of 6 when the install process seemed to hang up (no change after 45 minutes.

    Couldn't close/cancel - nothing.

    So I powered down by holding the power button in and now I can't even power the PC up.

    Un plugging, plugging back in, holding the power switch in, just tapping it, nothing.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Leave your PC unplugged for 10 minutes and try it again. You can also pull the CMOS battery out so it will reset it. It has to be something wrong on your motherboard for it not to even power up.

        lol, the simpler the better... and I knew to do that cause I've messed up many computers and that fixes many problems
