    That looks right.

Now, re-start the xserver with Ctrl-Alt-Backspace.

When it starts, you should see the green and black Nvidia splash screen. If that works, open a console and enter
    Code:
    beryl
again, and maybe we'll something better.

And this is on Kubuntu Feisty?

Well, there are some horribly mangled spelling issues, which I'm hoping are just the translation from your native language to English. "/etc/X111/corg.conf" for example is a non-existent file in the real system.

The line in Xorg.0.log that says "'lib/modules/2.6.20-16-generiv/volatilenvidia.ko':No such file or directory" is concerning. It makes me wonder if something isn't working when you install your driver. Can you manually check and see if you have such a folder, and if it contains an "nvidia" file?

In the new (written by Nvidia driver) /etc/X11/xorg.conf file, is the driver listed as "nvidia"?
