    sharing a printer

For the life of me, I can't seem to get a printer shared out so my Win2K and XP boxes can see it. I think I've tried every thing out there. What's the trick? My Windoze boxes just don't see the printer on my Linux box.

Can the windows boxes actually see the Linux box eging.

Have you shared the printer in the system settings?
    ~$sudo make me a sandwich

I can ping the Linux box from any other box.

I think I have it shared out as a Samba printer.

        Is the server running?

        Code:
ROOT # ps aux | grep -v grep | grep smbd
ROOT # ps aux | grep -v grep | grep nmbd
        Are the shares visible?

        Code:
        ROOT # smbclient -L localhost
