    MSI TV @nywhere

I have an MSI TV @nywhere card (hybrid A/D, FM radio and composite video in) that I'm trying to get working. The correct modules are being loaded (SAA7133 and SAA7134)

    [ 42.251854] saa7130/34: v4l2 driver version 0.2.14 loaded

I have no /dev/dvb directory, but I do have /dev/.static/dev/dvb/adaptor0, 1, 2 and 3 - I am assuming these refer to the analog, dvb, FM and composite.

Where do I go from here?

It looks like it's working. Tried watching video from /dev/video0?
    For external use only.

OK - Tried KDETV, KLEAR and TVTime - nothing.
I've created an alias from .static/dev/dvb to /dev, still nothing (although KLEAR gives an error 'Failed opening DVB device'

      Output from lspci:
04:08.0 Multimedia controller: Philips Semiconductors SAA7133/SAA7135 Video Broadcast Decoder (rev d1)
      matches the module load

Any ideas? I don't really want to use windows...

        Re: MSI TV @nywhere

I have just installed a tv@nywhere master in a box for MythTV. It all just works for me. My only complaint is that the sound is screechy.

I've done a bit of research - the general consensus is that the card is a re badged Lifeview FlyDVB Hybrid.
However, I've added options to the module (card=94 tuner=61) but still no luck

          Any ideas?

            Any news on this card?

I have one too, but can only get DVB to work poorly in mythtv?? I suspect poor reception cos i get the same result under wundoze
            Really wanted analog tho!

Unfortunately I have tried all of the TV apps here with no success. I suggest the original poster try mythtv.
