    If you're the first user created on the system, your UID is 1000.

    Or, just look in /etc/passwd. The pair of numbers is your UID and GID, respectively.
    For external use only.

      I'm running Feisty ( EXT3 ). I also have a 750gb external USB drive I use for backup, photo's and music mainly. When I turn it on, it mounts fine and have not had any issues with it. Odd?
