Hello all,
I just recently switched to Kubuntu from a regular Debian desktop and would like to get my existing filesystem that I had as STORAGE, to work on my Kubuntu machine. I went through and defined everything in MDADM as it was on my Debian machine and then went to mount it and ..... errors. Mainly "wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/mdo" junk spit back at me. I noticed on install that my main H/D which under Debian was HDA (IDE OS Drive) is now listed as SDA .... and my old RAID was SDA, SDB,SDC,SDD so I think so fubarring went on. I rebooted and now they are defined as they were but won't mount.
I went wrong somewhere in installing this RAID, can someone point me to a proper way to get an existing RAID to show up and work in Kubuntu, or have any tips?
