ATI, open drivers, SGI but no direct rendering

im trying to get my ATI Radeon 9600 to work with beryl with open source drivers.
Works perfect when i used ubuntu.
But now i cant get the Direct rendering to start.

    Code:
    zinden@zinden-desktop:~$ glxinfo | grep vendor
    server glx vendor string: SGI
    client glx vendor string: SGI
OpenGL vendor string: Mesa project: [url]www.mesa3d.org[/url]
zinden@zinden-desktop:~$ glxinfo | grep "direct rendering"
    direct rendering: No
    zinden@zinden-desktop:~$
    and my Xorg:
    Code:
    # /etc/X11/xorg.conf (xorg X Window System server configuration file)
    #
    # This file was generated by dexconf, the Debian X Configuration tool, using
    # values from the debconf database.
    #
    # Edit this file with caution, and see the xorg.conf(5) manual page.
    # (Type "man xorg.conf" at the shell prompt.)
    #
    # This file is automatically updated on xserver-xorg package upgrades *only*
    # if it has not been modified since the last upgrade of the xserver-xorg
    # package.
    #
    # If you have edited this file but would like it to be automatically updated
    # again, run the following command:
    # sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg

    Edit:
Can add that i tried to use restricted drivers too (closed drivers)
But i couldent get the GLX session to work instead. The computer got VERY, VERY slow when i used the GLX login instead of normal KDE login.

So all sugestions, tips are welcome.....

Can add that in ubuntu, i got no problem at all to use restricted or open drivers for my card and having Beryl up and running. I probably changed 20-30 times between drivers in Ubuntu.
IN Kubuntu i managed 0 so far............
Working...
