USB HD not found by 7.04

    Hi,

I tried everything I know to mount a USB hd, but still no luck. I read on Dutch forums that othr users have the same problem. Usb sticks also don't appear.... Teh hardware is OK, since it works 100% under open SUSE 10.2

Re: USB HD not found by 7.04

It seems there is a problem with HAL + USB, I am able to load USB FAT32 sticks with no problems. But at the time I connect my USB NTFS external Disks I start having problems.
I am able to mount them through command line, but KDE fails to mount them through media:/
As far as I know this is a present on other distributions as well, If you do a search you will see that allot of users are complaing about this issue.
P.S I had no chance of checking it with a USB NTFS stick.
