When I log in to gnome and go to computer:///, it shows the drive and all I have to do is put in the administrative password and I can access it. When I log into KDE (just after startup) it doesn't see it anywhere, so I log into gnome access it and go back into KDE and it sees it. In the settings on the drive it has an option to "mount automatically". I check it, restart, go into KDE ,and it had not mounted. There are no guides on how to install a hard drive in 7.4. I assume that I am starting the process, but not finishing it.
