Hi folks how are we? The problem I have is there is an onboard sound chip that I have disabled on the mother board, but for some reason bloody nix includes it in its hardware check, I dont quite know how to disable this item as I cqnnot seem to find a system tool to do this, I have tried logging in as root and sudo, No Go 
Also when I did the upgrade from 6.10 to 7.04 it crashed, can I redo this? Also I have noticed I can not see any of the system files as user? This I find strange as in other distro's you can see these
