Get Wireless working on ISO image booting CD on TECRA A8

I have Kubuntu 7.04i38 on a CD. I can boot to it fine. All works well except for my wireless card. Is there anything special I need to do to allow my wireless card to work? I am new to linux all together, so a more detailed explaination would be appreciated. I do have extensive XP knowledge if that helps with the explanation, how/when the driver loads etc.

Is there a boot file that you can edit. Do special drivers need to be loaded into a directory, etc?

I see no one has responded. Do you know what wireless card you have? Do you have a wired NIC? Not all wireless cards will work Out Of The Box (unfortunately, and not Kubuntu's fault).
