Keeps on freezing on logitec desktop?

Hi all,

I am new to the Kubuntu distro, it looks good and it feels good before it freezes.

If I am working with the OS often after a minute or 10 my system freezes.
What could this be?

SPECS:

Asus M2A-VM HDMI
AMD X2 5600+
2 GB DDR2
SATA harddisk
Asus
Logitech® Cordless Desktop® S 510

Anybody knows why my system freezes all the time?
It is randomly when it freezes, browsing... using the console...
When it freezes, my mouse still works, as the pointer follows the movements.
Thought my keyboard doesnt react, also the lights of the receiver doest change with numlock and stuff...

Somebody has any idea?

Hmmmmmm -- two guys with the same Asus/AMD motherboard reporting system freezes, within 90 minutes of each other .... anyone seeing a pattern here?

I have no clue about the cause -- I'm afraid someone is in for a research project, regarding that particular hardware.

Ok this doesnt sound good...

So someone also with this motherboard is having freezing problems.
Hmmm...

Hope soon will come a solution or maybe an bios update?



Hmm just updated my Bios to version 0603 (latest stable version, 0703 is beta) it was version 0303.
Now lets reinstall Kubuntu... I will let you know the result.
