    temperature sensing

I cant get linux to measure temp of cpu. I have install everything I could find for sensing

: lm-sensors...ktemperature..ksensors...I am running a pentium d ( dual core ) on an intel dg965ry motherboard. No problems in vista or xp in measuring temp.

any help would be deeply appreciated...

    thanks,

    Re: temperature sensing

Have you run sensors-detect to set up the sensors and needed modules after installing lm-sensors?

    If you haven't, run
    Code:
    sudo sensors-detect
in the konsole and answer the questions (choose the defaults if you're not sure) and follow the instructions.

After the sensors have been detected and the modules loaded (reboot) your monitoring software should pick up the readouts.
