Drivers for Canon i320 and MP-160 printers

I have a Canon i320 printer and a Canon MP-160 multifunction printer. My problem is getting drivers for them. Linuxprinting.org says they are recognized by (K)ubuntu but there isn't a driver for them there. That was exactly what I found with both Ubuntu and Kubuntu. Turboprint.de has got the driver - for a nice amount of money...

Can you suggest me any other places to find these drivers?

    Thanks in advance.

My Epson C84 "disappeared" from the Kubuntu printers list in the Feisty version. If you can follow the rabbit trail here:

it might be that the Gutenprint drivers will work for your Canons too.

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately Gutenprint doesn't have drivers for my printers, I've just checked their list of supported printers.

I do not know if it is too late for you to get this message or you finally got your printer working. I have the same printer that is MP-160 and I found this website that would help you to get that printer and scanner working: http://forums.linux-foundation.org/r...p?25,1420,2817. In that website there is a link that shows you step by step on what to do to get your printer working properly. I downloaded the drivers and installed them. I can't wait to get home to see if it is working.
