Touch screen does its own thing

    Hi Team

I've just installed Kubuntu on a small format PC for use in my expedition 4x4 and this has an 8 inch HAMI touch screen. The problem I have is that the touch screen is working in reverse so that a move of my finger to the left moves the cusror to the right and vice versa. Clicking is ok. Does anyone know which driver is the appropriate one to use.

The one you're using is probably fine. Go to /etc/X11/xorg.conf and look around for settings concerning your touch screen.

Also, you might want to install the ksynaptics package. I'm not sure if it applies to touch screens or touch pads, but you might want to try it.
    For external use only.
